Trento has a lot of potential in terms of tourism with all the Natural Parks, Conservation Areas, agricultural valleys and vineyards, eye catching scarps and buildings spread on rural and urban spaces.
A strong relationship was established between the metro/stations and the sites with a highly positive visual impact and tourist interest.
The metro line occupies/reuses whenever possible spaces occupied by cars or trains.
The debris from the tunnels were placed in degraded areas and converted into green spaces. Mori Agrovitiviculture Park came up from this idea. This park has 44ha and includes private areas of vineyards, orchards and public green spaces. It has two circuits: history of wine and the landscape/biodiversity of Trento: flora and fauna of the valley. It also includes spaces for agricultural markets, thematic fairs and educational/therapeutic allotments.
